ATV Safety Training
Glad you stopped in
here. Our club is very supportive of ATV Safety and
ATV Safety Training. We believe that a safe riding
experience will be the most enjoyable riding
experience, not only for you but for those riders with
you. In case you were not aware, in Pennsylvania
all ATV riders ages 10-15 must have attended the
training and carry their safety ID card with them when
riding. Also it's now legal for 8 & 9 year olds to
take the class and ride if they're on a 70cc or smaller ATV. Many other states have similar
regulations, be sure to check with your state for the
particulars.
The ATV Safety Institute
(ASI) offers very comprehensive, hands on training for
students of all ages. We have several ASI
instructors in our membership. You can learn all
about the ASI by visiting their website www.atvsafety.org
Many manufacturers offer this training for free with the
purchase of a new ATV. Your dealer will inform you
about this option when you complete your purchase. After
successfully completing the class each student will be
issued their ATV safety ID card.
