Come Ride With Us!

The composition of the Lehigh Valley ATV Association is extremely diverse. That diversity makes the club stronger. Ages of members range from birth to well past retirement, but don't think that retirement slows down any of these members. We have sportsmen, racers and recreational riders. The ATVs you see out on the trail during club rides are also put to use on hunting and camping expeditions, touring around the neighborhood, or working on the farm.

Our group spends numerous weekends each year helping the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR) with a variety of projects to improve and expand outdoor recreational facilities throughout Pennsylvania. We even take on projects in neighboring states. One of our more recently completed projects was to assist in the establishment of a multipurpose trail in the Dixon Miller Recreational Area of the Delaware State Forest. It took eight years of letter writing, phone calls, meetings, work parties and cooperation with other use groups but the perseverance paid off. We also have "adopted" trails in other sections of the state and regularly assist in maintaining, repairing and improving them.

The club sponsors numerous social activities which include a Holiday party, long weekend rides and day trips, dealer open houses,  summer picnic, ATV and recreational vehicle shows, field meets, supporting dealer activities, test riding new products, helping non-profit and charitable community organizations and developing proposed trails. We do an annual donation to the Muscular Dystrophy Association.

As a member of this fine organization you will find places to ride and improve your skills with people that share the same interests. This group has ridden many thousands of miles without incident or serious accident because of our commitment to preserve the environment and practice safe and responsible ATVing.

The club also goes on long weekend excursions to locations across Pennsylvania such as Sproul, Potter, and Marienville; as well as many other interesting areas in New York,  West Virginia and Canada. It sure beats riding around your back yard and irritating your neighbors. Being with a group that knows their way around the deep woods is very reassuring when you are miles from civilization, but that is what this club is all about.

Although the club rides are great experiences for members of all abilities, you frequently find different groups getting together between these excursions to explore new or special interest areas. With our club, there is never a lack of people who want to ride. They can be found riding every weekend and activities are planned to keep an individual or family having fun all year, so why not join? Dues are $30.00 for an individual, $35.00 for a family (of which $5.00 goes towards PaOHV), and $100.00 for a dealer membership. The only way this sport can continue to grow is through organization. Join today before it's too late and get actively involved in the sport of ATVing.
