Here's a few
pictures of our trip.
Jim organized
and got special permission to ride at Sproul, so we went there the first day. A few of us tried unsuccessfully to park at the
upper big parking area via Big Basin Rd. It was plowed up to the
intersection of Shintown rd and stopped. We had some workout getting
us all turned back towards rte 144, especially for one white truck
that was missing that 4X6 option. The second day we rode the
Snowshoe rail-trail and Steve picked up some hot dogs for a cookout
over an open fire complete with condiments, chips and cookies. Some of the
other members brought drinks and deserts also. We saw
evidence of the early cold snowy December taking its toll on the
wild life as we passed by a skeleton remains of a deer in the snow,
or could it have been someone's pet dog? What do you think Steve?
I believe we all
had a great time wheeling out in the snow and want to thank you Jim
and Steve for making this trip successful.
